Dates Set for 2010 Embedded Software Boot Camp Roadshow

Embedded Software Boot Camp coming to Florida, California, and Illinois

Elkridge, MD, November 23, 2009 – Netrino, the world leader in embedded software architecture and process consulting and training, today announced public training course dates and locations for Winter and Spring 2010. Netrino’s popular, hands-on “Embedded Software Boot Camp” will be offered in four cities.

Netrino's Embedded Software Boot Camp is a one-week skills strengthening program consisting of a series of lectures and hands-on exercises in C on an ARM processor board. This engaging educational program quickly and dramatically raises the embedded programming skills of individuals and teams. Typical attendees have from 0 to 15 years of embedded software experience and degrees in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. They learn not only how to create working firmware with fewer bugs but also how to properly architect the software inside their devices.

“Thank you for offering such a great course!," wrote a recent Embedded Software Boot Camp attendee from SRA International, Inc. “It definitely provided a great refresher for many topics as well as introducing me to new concepts that will undoubtedly be valuable in my work. I will recommend the course to others and look forward to any additional courses that you offer.” The full course outline is available on the Netrino website at http://www.netrino.com/Boot-Camp. The four cities will be Orlando, Florida; San Jose, California; Columbia, Maryland; and Chicago, Illinois. Dates and prices are online at http://www.netrino.com/Training-Calendar.

“I've spent well over a decade creating and refining the lectures and exercises that comprise the Embedded Software Boot Camp workshop,” noted lead instructor Michael Barr. “We are not aware of any similar training available anywhere in the world. And, unfortunately, even most experienced embedded software engineers know only a fraction of the valuable best practices taught here. My aim is to change that. So we're taking the Embedded Software Boot Camp on the road in the first half of 2010.”

The price is set at $3,995 per attendee. A 25% early registration discount reduces the price to $2,995. Each attendee receives the Embedded Software Boot Camp Training Manual (a 350 page book), an Exercise Manual, a USB thumb drive containing the exercise source code plus dozens of articles for further reading, an exclusive Embedded Software Boot Camp T-shirt, a certificate of completion, and other freebies. Lunch is provided. All exercises are done on an ARM processor board using the IAR Embedded Workbench and J-Link tools and Micrium uC/OS real-time operating system.
