At Netrino, there's only one thing our engineers love more than developing embedded software and real-time systems, and that's teaching others to do the same. Toward that end, we offer embedded systems training courses of several types.

On-Site Classes

Our primary offering is a set of on-site training courses in a range of topics, including such popular classes as Hardware Interfacing with C, Multithreaded Programming, and Critical Software Safeguards: lint and MISRA-C.

Each of our courses runs from one day to one week, depending on the format, and is typically taught at or near the customer's location. The longer, hands-on format works best with fifteen or fewer students. The lecture format can accommodate engineering teams as large as one hundred. Some courses can be customized to address the specific development tools, real-time operating systems, and/or microcontrollers you may be using or considering.

Online Training

To accomodate smaller groups and those who can't afford on-site training, we've also developed a self-paced Web-based embedded software training course. The C/C++ Programmer's Guide to Embedded Systems online course is aimed at individuals who want to get started in embedded programming as quickly as possible. Public Courses

From time to time Netrino Institute offers public training courses on various topics related to embedded software design. These courses are generally announced about three months in advance and are offered in various locations in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. We especially enjoy teaching computer scientists and other folks new to embedded systems what our field is all about. (The crazy thing is that most computer science degree programs never actually teach anything about interfacing to hardware or achieving real-time determinism!)
