At Netrino, there's only one thing our engineers love more than developing real-time embedded systems and software, and that's teaching others to do the same. Toward that end, we offer embedded systems training courses of several types, with all courses incorporating aspects of Netrino's Zero Bugs...Period firmware design methodology to reduce bugs, finish projects on time, and improve the reliability of embedded systems.
Most of our customers are electrical engineers looking to broaden and deepen their knowledge of software architecture. But we also greatly enjoy teaching computer scientists and other folks new to embedded systems what firmware is all about. (The crazy thing is that most computer science degree programs never actually teach anything about interfacing to hardware or achieving real-time determinism!)
Our primary offering is a set of on-site training courses in a range of topics, including Hardware Interfacing with C, Multithreaded RTOS Programming, and Critical Software Safeguards: lint and MISRA-C.
Each of our on-site courses runs from one day to one week, depending on the format, and is typically taught at or near the customer's location. The longer, hands-on format works best with fifteen or fewer students, whereas the lecture format can accommodate engineering teams as large as one hundred. Some courses can be customized to address your specific choice development tools, real-time operating systems, and/or microcontrollers.
Netrino Institute also offers "open to the public" training courses on various topics related to embedded software design. The dates and locations of these courses are generally announced 2-3 months in advance and are offered in various regions of the U.S.
You can find the dates, locations, and prices of upcoming public courses at http://www.netrino.com/Embedded-Systems/Training-Courses/Calendar. Login or register to be notified of future public course announcements via our e-mail newsletter. Alternatively, contact us to suggest a location or to request more information.
We can arrange to train from one developer to over a hundred. Just let us know your needs and—if we don't already have what your engineering team needs—we'll customize a course to suit you. We can also help your company establish a custom embedded systems training program.
